The actual experience of hypnosis is very similar to daydreaming or deep relaxation. It is an altered state of awareness which every one experiences naturally - it's that lovely feeling that one experiences just before going to sleep at night, or as you come out of sleep in the morning.
Generally you will be aware of what is going on around you and of what the therapist is saying to you, you will remember a lot of what has happened whilst in Hypnosis, and throughout, you are always in control.
When a person is in Hypnosis, it helps to open the subconscious part of the mind so that, that person can become subconsciously more responsive to the suggestions.
For hundreds of years Hypnotherapy has been used to successfully treat many physiological conditions, and also aid in the cure of many physical illnesses too. However the most common treatments that many Hypnotherapists treat in these modern times can be Weight Control, Stopping Smoking, Anxiety, Depression, Fear & Phobias and even Pain Control.
Pain Control has become very popular since Kate Middleton used Hypno-Birthing to aid in her birth control for the arrival of her two Children; Prince George, and Princess Charlotte.
THE MIND AND BODY ARE ONE SYSTEM
Unlike many health services, Hypnotherapists do not just treat the symptoms or illness. We treat the whole person. We look deeper within a person and treat what is causing problems from the root cause.
We believe that modern medicine is not the only viable treatment.
We have trained and graduated many successful Clinical Hypnotherapists all over the UK. Some Hypnotherapists choose to generalise and treat many conditions. Wheras some become a specialist and excel in one specific area. Some become specialists in Weight Control, some become Pain Control specialists, Stress busters, run happiness workshops, setup Hypno-Birthing clinics.
Many of our qualified Hypnotherapists leave their previous job because they see how Hypnotherapy can be so finically and emotionally rewarding.
Neil Woods is quoted as saying “for the first time in my career being a Hypnotherapist allowed me to feel finically very secure but also makes me feel so happy knowing that I’ve helped people to make amazing changes in their lives.
You can choose to work full-time as a Hypnotherapist if earning lots of money is your inspiration, or you can choose a more balanced approach and work part-time, whilst been able to spend more time doing other things you love.
